Planting Instructions:

Soil Preparation:

Choose an area with heavy, well-draining soil that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight each day. Remove weeds, large rocks, and litter from the planting area. Leave small weeds and dead grass, they will enrich the soil when turned under. Spade or till the soil 8-12 inches deep. Loosening the soil will help the plant establish strong roots.

Plants grow best in soil with lots of organic matter. You may optionally add fertilizer or organic material such as compost, leaves, or rotted hay to mix into the soil at this point. For small gardens, scatter 2-3 tablespoons of a low-nitrogen fertilizer evenly and work into the top 2-3 inches of soil for each hill or 2 foot by 2 foot planting area. For larger gardens, scatter 2-3 pounds of a low-nitrogen fertilizer for each 100 square feet of planting area. Work fertilizer or organic material into the soil and leave the surface smooth.

Form rows of soil beds 4-6 inches high and at least 18 inches apart. This formation of ridges will help with drainage.

Planting:

Direct-sowing is recommended. Plant edamame in the spring after all danger of frost has passed and the soil temperature reaches at least 60F. For fall crops, direct sow seeds outdoors 12-14 weeks before the first frost. To plant, make holes 1 inch deep and spaced 4 inches apart down the rows of raised beds. Plant 1 seed per hole. If choosing to thin to the strongest plant, plant 2-3 seeds per hole, determine the strongest and healthiest plant, then remove all other plants, narrowing to a single plant per hole. Cover seeds thinly with soil and water after planting.

Planting Depth: 1 inch
Within-Row Spacing: 4 inches
Between-Row Spacing: 18-24 inches

Care During the Season:

Watering: Water the plants deeply, soaking the soil to a depth of 6-8 inches, once a week. If there is no rainfall, water 2-3 times a week. Water especially during flowering and pod formation. Sandy soils may need to be watered more often than heavy clay soils. Mulching around plants can help retain moisture.

Weeding: Keeping plants weed-free improves production. If plowing or hoeing, do not dig deeper than 1 inch to prevent from cutting the feeder roots.

Fertilizing: Once plants start forming pods, you may optionally a low-nitrogen fertilizer, without letting the fertilizer touch the plants. Water plants after fertilizing.

Insecticides: Insecticides may be used to protect plants. Bt-based insecticides and sulfur are organic options that can be used for prevention. Sulfur also has fungicidal properties and helps in controlling many diseases. Before using a pesticide, read the label and follow cautions, warnings and directions.

Diseases: If spots or mold appear, treat plants with an approved fungicide. Neem oil, sulfur, and other fungicides may be used. When using fungicides always follow label directions.

Harvesting:

Edamame are typically ready for harvest when the pods are fully developed but still tender, and the beans inside are plump, yet not fully matured. This usually occurs about 70 to 90 days after planting, depending on the variety and growing conditions. To determine the right time to harvest, check the pods - they should be bright green and firm to the touch. It’s important to harvest edamame while the beans are still in the "green" stage, before they turn yellow or brown. Use your fingers or a pair of scissors to cut the entire plant at the base when the majority of the pods have reached the right stage. If only a few pods are ready, you can selectively pick them by hand, but harvesting the entire plant ensures all the beans ripen together. After harvesting, you can either remove the beans directly from the pods or keep the pods intact for easier handling. Edamame is best enjoyed fresh, but you can also blanch and freeze the beans for later use.

Perfect & light weight divider

I really like this divider. I have it in my bedroom which is also where my "work from home office" is. The divider blocks my bedroom and dresser perfectly. It's very light weight and very easy to move.

I received my 8 panel folding divider and realized that I probably should have just ordered the 6 panel one. But it is nice and sturdy and was already put together. I am very pleased with the product.

Love 💜💛love 💜💛love 💜💛these shelves! 👍💝
Size: 2pcs, Color: B. White, Size: 2pcs, Color: B. White
I absolutely love these shelves, and I wish I got the 3 pack, but I will order more for sure. Instructions are easy enough to understand. Just make sure your arrow on the metal bracket points UP! Pretty much everything is included EXCEPT a screw driver ( Phillips head). There are extra screws as well. I have a ratchet screwdriver that helps me work longer as I have RA. Figure out where you want your shelving, in a row, off center, etc and mark your wall for the screw holes. A miniature level is included! Now, my own personal preference was to NOT use those plastic anchors! (I am not a fan of them at all.) Once I marked my wall for the screw holes, I attached 2 small command strips to the back of the metal bracket, lined it all up and pressed to the wall! Bingo! Now I have 2 hands to work this magic with and began screwing the bracket to the wall. 7 screws in all! This bracket is not going anywhere! Slide the shelving onto the bracket and then use 2 screws ( underneath) to firm up the bracket in the hole. Next, attach the metal grate to the shelving unit. And you are done. Repeat the process if you have more shelves. This couldn't be any easier. Everything lined up and went together without any issues. And it looks so clean and professional. For me, it just took a little longer than possibly a younger person or handyman. My shelves are off set. My preference. They don't hold a lot, but it does help with a few decorations, toilet tissue, or other bathroom items you might want to display. I highly recommend and when I finish this review and my 2nd shelf, I am ordering more! P.S. Pictures are not how I will be decorating. Just for a visual. UPDATE: Pictures with the yellow accents and purple depression glass is my decor in the bathroom.
